A Song in My Heart Music and Mental Health Mini-Retreat
October 24, 9am-noon |
Join us in the Sanctuary of Good Shepherd UCC as we listen, sing, move, and reflect on the relationship between music and mental health. You don’t have to be a musician and there will be no forced singing. If you breathe, we invite you to explore in community the power of music in our lives and the many ways it can support our well-being.
Our time will be facilitated by the artist-scholar Lois Deloatch who has a distinguished body of professional, volunteer, and artistic work. More than that, Lois brings a spirit of wisdom, kindness, and creativity into her teaching and facilitation and you will not want to miss the opportunity to be in her generous and generative presence.
